The lavish $3 million Italian wedding between NFL quarterback Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos has been abruptly canceled, reportedly due to “ongoing infidelity issues” on Prescott’s part. This comes just weeks before the couple was set to tie the knot. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved, especially considering how much planning goes into a celebration of that scale.
Sources indicate that Ramos discovered Prescott was allegedly living a bit of a digital double life. According to the New York Post, she reportedly learned that he was using incognito social media profiles to send inappropriate messages to multiple women and even some ex-flings. This revelation apparently came to light right after their joint bachelor-bachelorette party in the Bahamas. It must have been an absolutely brutal discovery during what should have been a joyful time. It really makes you think about how easily digital tools can be misused.
Ramos believes Prescott had a history of communicating with other women throughout their relationship. Despite these challenges, it seems she had remained committed to him, hoping he would change his ways. This commitment was especially strong given their young family, which includes their daughters Margaret Jane (two years) and Aurora Rayne (nine months). It’s truly awful to see a family face such a difficult situation.
The Bahamas trip didn’t end very well
The couple’s wedding was scheduled to take place in picturesque Lake Como, Italy on April 10 2026. A purported email from Ramos and Prescott was sent to their wedding guests, informing them of the cancellation. The note, signed by both Ramos and Prescott, expressed their deep regret.
“As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como Italy on Friday April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers,” the email stated.
Before the news of the split became public, Ramos posted a collection of photos from her bachelorette trip on Instagram. Her caption offered an emotional shoutout to her inner circle, highlighting the importance of friendship during tough times. “I truly believe you can get through anything in life as long as you have really great friends. I love these girls so much,” she wrote. It’s clear she was leaning on her support system even then, perhaps sensing the storm on the horizon.
