The Safehouse in the Hills update for GTA V Online allows you to buy a mansion, but it can be hard to choose which one of the 3 to get.
After all, you have to consider the differences of each mansion. They are all in different locations, for one, and some are cheaper than others. But is there a best one to pick?
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know as you pick a mansion to buy.
Mansion Buyer’s Guide – Best Mansion to Get | GTA V Online
There are 3 different mansions you can purchase through the Prix Luxury Real Estate website in-game, as follows:
The Tongva Estate – $11,500,000. This one is located on the western side of San Andreas, north of Los Santos. It is the same mansion as Devin Weston’s.
The Vinewood Residence – $12,200,000. You can find this one just a bit northeast of Los Santos, pretty close to the city itself.
Richman Villa – $12,800,000. This one is in the northwestern part of Los Santos, right next to Madrazo’s mansion.
Realistically speaking, all 3 of these mansions offer the exact same features. The only real differences are their locations, pricing, and aesthetics.
When it comes to their locations, it’s probably safe to assume that at this point you have enough money to have a good vehicle to get around with. So, location shouldn’t matter too much.
That said, the Richman Villa is best if you wish to be in Los Santos. Plus, being close to Madrazo can be convenient for the Cayo Perico Heist. Alternatively, go for The Tongva Estate if you want to be away from the city.
As for the aesthetics, well… that really is something you have to decide for yourself. Check out the mansions individually and see which one looks best and has the best views in your opinion.
Do note, though, the aesthetics are only different for the exteriors and nearby areas. The interior is identical for all 3 mansions, so keep that in mind!
Also, you are not limited to just one mansion! You can, in fact, buy all 3 of them if you so wish… provided you’ve got the money, of course.
Now, before we finish up, let’s quickly go over the upgrades and facilities you can install on your mansion.
Mansion Upgrades
As you purchase a mansion, you’ll get the option to customize it. This mostly means some cosmetic changes, but there are also useful extras you can buy! They are as follows:
- Armory – $720,000. Comes with a Mk II Weapon Workshop and a place to buy and modify a wide range of weapons.
- Arcade – $950,000. A place to put all of your Pixel Emporium arcade games and cabinets, allowing you to play them.
- Podium – $650,000. Allows you to place a vehicle of your choice as an exhibit. We have a guide on how to do just that.
- Vehicle Workshop – $880,000. A place where you can modify and upgrade your vehicles. GTA+ Members also get access to Benny’s Original Motor Works, Hao’s Special Works, Drift Tuning, and Missile Lock-On Jammer upgrades.
That aside, you can also purchase the Security feature for a one-time fee of $1,750,000. Security will defend your mansion and also prevent raids on your business! This is a one-time purchase, too, and applies to all of your mansions if you have multiple.
Out of these upgrades, the Security personnel is highly recommended, although it is quite costly. The Armory and Vehicle Workshop would be our next recommendations, with the Arcade and Podium being more cosmetic than anything.
Ultimately, you can’t go wrong with any of these mansions! There really isn’t a singular best mansion to buy in GTA V Online from a gameplay perspective. So, just buy whichever one appeals to you the most.
