Hytale – How to Get Adamantite Gear Fast

Adamantite is the highest tier of gear you can get in Hytale, and it takes a while to get, even if you try to be fast about it.

That said, you can sort of skip steps in your progression by going for it as soon as possible. It’s just that it requires a lot of Adamantite, which is the rarest ore in the entire game as of this writing!

Nonetheless, this guide will help you get Adamantite equipment as quickly as possible.

Getting Started and Important Notes

Characters preparing and crafting equipment | Hytale

Before we begin, it’s important to note that you’ll need to make an Armorer’s Workbench and Blacksmith’s Anvil, then upgrade them to the max It’s required to be able to craft the Adamantite equipment! Upgrading them requires a lot of effort, as you’ll need quite a lot of materials for them.

While I won’t cover it in detail here, we do have a full guide on all Workbench upgrades. Check that out for all the details on how to upgrade the Armorer’s Workbench!

In addition, you’ll need to set up a Furnace to smelt ores and a Tanning Rack to make leather out of hides. You can craft both of these stations from your Workbench, as well.

That aside, I’ll only be covering the bare minimum required to get Adamantite Gear. After all, this guide is all about being fast and trying to get that endgame equipment ASAP.

However, I do highly recommend not ignoring your current equipment as you progress and follow this guide. Good equipment will be required to deal with tougher enemies, some of which are required to kill for materials here.

With all of that said, though, let’s dive into how to get to Adamantite quickly!

Get An Iron Pickaxe

First things first, you’ll need to progress until you manage to get the Iron Pickaxe. It’s the minimum required to mine Adamantite Ore.

If you’re just starting out, your first goal is to get a simple Stone Pickaxe and Stone Hatchet. You can craft them by picking up rocks and plants in the starting area. This will get you enough Rubble, Plant Fiber, and Sticks.

After that, chop down trees and mine stone blocks until you get at least 4 Logs and 3 Stones of any type. With that, you can craft and place your first Workbench.

At this point, we recommend having some auxiliary equipment, such as weapons and Torches. You’ll need them, as your next goal is to dive into any cave you can find nearby!

In those caves, you’ll find Copper (light brown) and Iron (white with orange spots) veins. Use your Stone Pickaxe to mine them.

At this point in the game, you’ll want a minimum of 5 Iron Ore to make an Iron Pickaxe. If you want a full set of Iron armor, you’ll need another 45. Then, for a weapon, you’ll need anywhere from 4 to 10, depending on your weapon of choice.

If you want to be fully decked out in Iron equipment, that means you need about 60 pieces of Iron! That said, you only really require the pickaxe to mine for Adamantite. The armor and weapons can help with enemies, though. Some enemies are required for their drops, too.

Where to Find Materials for Adamantite Gear

Once you have an Iron Pickaxe and are confident in your equipment and abilities, it’s time to visit the Devastated Lands. More specifically, you need to find the Cinder Wastes biome within them, as shown above.

That is the only region where you can spot Adamantite veins, which are marked with shiny red rocks. They aren’t super common on the surface, but you can often find plenty underground. Of course, though, the caves are riskier!

Alternatively, you sometimes find structures within this biome. Sometimes these structures contain chests, which have a pretty high chance of containing a random amount of Adamantite Ore.

A full set of Adamantite armor will require 77 Adamantite Ingots. You’ll need anywhere from 9 to 16 ingots if you wish to get weapons, as well.

Trying to go for about 100 Adamantite Ore is a good idea if you want a full set of gear. However, it will definitely take you a while to get. Adamantite is pretty rare, even once you know where to look!

Aside from the Adamantite Ore, you’ll also need to get Heavy Leather and Cindercloth Scraps.

Heavy Leather is the easiest of the two to get. You just need to kill large animals like Bears and Mosshorns to get Heavy Hides. Then put them on your Tanning Rack to turn them into Heavy Leather.

Cindercloth Scraps are a bit harder, however. To get them, you’ll need to defeat skeletal enemies within the Devastated Lands. This is why we recommended having good weapons for this part! Ranged weapons are especially good for farming them safely.

You’ll need to get about 24 Heavy Leather and 20 Cindercloth Scraps for the full set of Adamantite armor. For weapons, all types need 3 Cindercloth Scraps and between 3 and 5 Heavy Leather.

So, there you have it! That’s all you need to get Adamantite gear as fast as possible in Hytale. Knowing what to do is only half of it, though, so I wish you luck gathering everything.
