The Locked Gate event is exclusive to the Blue Gate map in ARC Raiders, and you might be wondering if it’s even worth doing it with how tough it sounds.
This event puts some limitations on the map, for one, which makes it harder to extract safely. It can also be pretty competitive, since the rewards are mostly in one spot. However, dealing with the challenges has its rewards, as you can get some fantastic loot!
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to do this even and go over its benefits and downsides.
How to Do the Locked Gate Event

The Locked Gate event is exclusive to the Blue Gate map. It happens every 12 hours and it has the following noteworthy modifiers going on for it:
- Fewer active Return Points.
- No active Raider Hatches.
- You can find Security Codes at specific locations.
- Land mines are hidden all over the map.
- Raid maximum time is 40 minutes.
- Rocketeers spawn at Pilgrim’s Peak.

The main goal for this event is the Gate Control Room by the Warehouse Complex area. Visit that room to find 4 different terminals.

Each one of the 4 terminals requires a Security Code from a different location on the map. They are as follows:
- Ancient Fort on the south.
- Pilgrim’s Peak on the northeast.
- Raider’s Refuge on the northwest.
- Reinforced Reception on the north.
Go to these 4 locations and loot every single container you can. Every container at those POIs has a random chance to contain the area’s respective Security Code. Of course, your goal here is to collect all 4 Security Codes, one per location.
Once you’ve done that, head to the Security Control Room and use the Security Codes to activate all 4 terminals there. When done, a notification will flash to all Raiders in the match notifying them of the Outer Gates opening!

So, you’ll next want to go to the Outer Gates location in the center of the map. You can head right into the underground section as you would normally when the event isn’t active.

The difference being, there’s a lot of great loot in the entire underground section now! Most notable is the Bobcat SMG Blueprint, which is very common in this area. So, happy looting!
So, Is It Even Worth Doing?

If you want the Bobcat Blueprint, the event is definitely worth participating in. In fact, you don’t even need to really engage with it for that, just play on the Blue Gate map while it’s active.
That’s because the Bobcat Blueprint can actually spawn anywhere on the entirety of Blue Gate while the event is active. You don’t need to specifically go to the underground section, although the blueprint is definitely more common there.
As you might imagine, the bad part of the event is that it’s likely to be very competitive. Other players will race you to the loot whenever the gates open, and PvP is extremely likely.
On the other hand, you can use that to your advantage. Stay away from the main locations for the event and you should be able to avoid most players, getting all of the loot they’re likely to ignore.
If you do fully engage with the event, the underground area has a lot of rare loot within once opened. This includes weapons, Augment blueprints, weapon blueprints, and more. It’s a great source of loot, if you can deal with the competition.
So, in summary, we highly recommend participating in this event. It has great loot if you fully engage with it, and a good chance to get the Bobcat Blueprint event if you don’t. It’s not bad at all! So, the Locked Gate event in ARC Raiders is definitely worth doing.
