Azure Kelp is one of the many resources you can find in Hytale, as long as you know its location.
It’s useful for various recipes, most notable being the Teleporters. As you might assume, too, you can generally find kelp underwater! But what exactly is the best spot and what do you need to look out for?
Well, read on! Our quick guide will answer all of your questions about finding Azure Kelp.
Where to Find Azure Kelp

You can primarily find Azure Kelp within the azure forest biomes. These look like the example above, for reference. They’re easy to spot by looking for deep blue forests on your map.

More specifically, look for ponds and lakes within those azure forests. You should notice plants like the one above growing below the water in those areas. Pick those up to collect Azure Kelp, it’s as simple as that!
Generally, azure forest biomes have multiple bodies of water for you to check, too. Each one has a chance to contain multiple Azure Kelp plants, too. So, make sure to check out every single one of if you need a lot of kelp.
While you’re at it, you can also chop down the unique azure trees in this biome! They are the only source of Azure Logs, so you might as well get some of those. They’re also required for Teleporters, just like the Azure Kelp.

Worth noting, though, Azure Kelp does not only grow in these azure forests. They are simply the most likely spawn location for it.
That means that you can often find Azure Kelp randomly by diving underwater in other biomes, but it’s a bit rarer generally. Keep that in mind!
Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know about the location of Azure Kelp in Hytale! The long and short of it is to look underwater for it, especially in those charming blue forests.
