The Azure Log is a fairly useful crafting material in Hytale, so you’ll no doubt be wondering about its exact spawn location.
As its name implies, these logs come from a particular type of tree. They are also required for some notable crafting recipes in the game, such as for making Teleporters. Plus, they also just look neat for building!
In this quick guide, we’ll tell you where exactly to go to get Azure Logs.
Where to Find Azure Log in Hytale
To get Azure Logs, you’ll first need to find one of the azure forest biomes. These appear on your map as a deep blue forest, as shown in the example above. They are fairly common all over the game world.
Once you find and reach one of those azure forests, the rest is pretty simple! You just need to chop down the trees within that biome. They all should drop Azure Logs.
Do note, though, the twirly roots of the trees don’t seem to drop Azure Logs at all. Try focusing on the tree trunks instead.
For the time being, chopping down these trees seems to be the only way to get Azure Logs. This could change later in development, but we just don’t know that yet! Either way, for now, you just need to go to azure forests.
Another thing worth noting here is that these azure forests are a great source of Azure Kelp. That’s another crafting resource you might need, particularly if you’re going for Teleporters! So, it’s a good idea to collect some while you’re there.
