How To Solve ARC Raiders NEW Puzzle Room On Buried City

The Cold Snap update added a new puzzle room to the Buried City map in ARC Raiders, and it took a lot of work from the community to solve.

There are a lot of buttons you need to find hidden all over the place, and making a single mistake resets the puzzle. Everyone in the lobby needs to work together, too, so it can be hard to organize!

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to solve this new puzzle.

Buried City Music Note Puzzle Room Basics

Alright, let’s start at the beginning for this one. You can find the puzzle room in the Buried City on the bottom floor of the building north of the Red Tower marker.

Once you get there, you’ll find an ominous locked door and a button. You’ll also notice there are 15 lights turned off on the wall next to the door, as well as a “d” music note. This music note corresponds with the nearby button, for reference.

In the adjacent room, you’ll find the key to this puzzle: a music sheet with 15 notes. So, the solution to the puzzle is relatively simple! At least, on paper.

You have to explore the Buried City map and find all 15 hidden buttons. At the same time, you’ll need to press the buttons in the same sequence as shown on the music sheet clue.

Each button has a music note near it that lets you know which part of the sequence it is. Also, each button you press will turn on 1 of the 15 lights by the final door. The goal is, of course, to turn all of them on.

The trick here is, of course, that you need to explore the whole map. What’s more, you also need to press all 15 buttons in order. Pressing any button out of order will turn off all the lights, resetting the entire puzzle.

So, despite being simple on paper, this puzzle is actually quite tricky! Thankfully, the ARC Raiders community has already cracked this one in record time.

Puzzle Map and Solution

Now that you know the basics, we recommend referring to the map above, courtesy of the ARC Raiders community. It shows you all 15 button locations in the Buried City, as well as the order.

Plus, the community’s puzzle hunt map site also has screenshots of the exact locations of these buttons if you click on them. So, we recommend it as it makes the hunt a lot easier.

That said, here’s a brief text recap of each location in order, for extra reference:

1. Inside the western building in Plaza Rosa, on the second floor.
2. Inside the building opposite of the Space Travel building, south of the Galleria.
3. In the lone Warehouse on the westernmost part of the Buried City.
4. Inside the stall in the eastern part of Marano Park.
5. Inside the Grandioso Apartments building, on the top floor.
6. On the tower connected to the highway near Piazza Arbusto.
7. Inside an abandoned bus north of the Library.
8. In the building north of Corso da Vinci, in a bedroom on the top floor.
9. In a very broken-down building on the eastern part of the building, by a Field Depot.
10. At the Hospital, under the stairs on the bottom floor.
11. On the roof under the caved highway east of Grandioso Apartments.
12. On the roof of the southernmost buried building at the Church Ruins.
13. In the attic at the top of the western building at Santa Maria Houses.
14. Inside the buried tower northwest of Piazza Roma.
15. Finally, the location from the start: the room north of the Red Tower marker.

If you and everyone in your lobby press the buttons in the right order, fireworks will go off and the room will open! You can now go in and loot it to your heart’s content, at long last! There are a lot of guitars there…
