You can do the Expedition 19 Redux: Corvette as part of the 2025 holiday celebrations in No Man’s Sky.
This Expedition is all about using the corvette ships. You’ll get one as soon as possible and then use it for the whole run. Upgrade it and explore space with it, taking advantage of its unique features!
In this guide, we’ll help you complete this Expedition as quickly as possible.
Starting the Expedition and Prep

Much like other Expeditions, there are two options to start this up. The first is to start a new save in Expedition mode, and the second is to visit the Space Anomaly in an existing save.
As usual, though, we recommend using a pre-existing save. Doing so will allow you to carry some items, which will greatly speed up the entire run!
On that note, here’s the shopping list of everything we recommend storing at the Space Anomaly for this Expedition:
- Silicate Powder x30
- Carbon x30
- Silver x120
- Gold x270
- Frost Crystal x250
- Warp Cell x1
- Tritium x300 as a backup for your Pulse Engine
- Runaway Mould to sell for Nanites, optionally.
Do note, though, you won’t get to retrieve these resources until you unlock the Space Anomaly after your first warp during the Expedition. So, you can’t skip the initial grind!
If you want to use a fresh save, or simply don’t have these resources, that’s alright! We’ll dedicate a section to making up for the missing resources when it becomes relevant for the Expedition.
That said, also make sure to claim all rewards from Milestones as they become available. They’ll be needed for your progression. However, you can avoid using Storage Expansion Slots by declining them if you want to bring them to your main save later.
Aside from that, avoid black holes and don’t install unnecessary modules. You can sell the modules for Nanites, which are required for some Milestones and for copying the Starship or Multitool from the Expedition back to your regular save.
With all of that said, it’s now time to start this Expedition up!
Early Exploration and Grinding

As soon as you start the Expedition, you want to gather the bare minimum resources for the first warp. You’ll need Oxygen x30, Ferrite Dust x50, Copper x90, and Carbon x20.

Once you’ve gathered those materials, follow the in-game marker to locate and board your Starship. You’ll get a call, answer it and receive the Orbital Link blueprint.

Next up, craft a Metal Plating and then make a Portable Refiner. Use the Refiner to process all of your Copper into Chromatic Metal.

With that, craft the Orbital Uplink. Place it and activate it, then use it to teleport to the nearest Space Station to complete the “Link to the Stars” milestone.
Once you complete that milestone, make sure to double-check that you have 8 unused storage slots. If you do, claim the reward to get the Corvette Basic Modules Pack.

At the Space Station, face the Trading Station and turn to your left. Use the teleporters there to go to the Corvette Workshop, then use the terminal at the workshop.

Create a new corvette, following the minimum requirements listed on the top right of your screen. You should have everything from the previous milestone, so just finalize it and swap your Starship with the new corvette.
Then, walk into the corvette and use the Build menu to place a Mission Radar. This will complete the “Ship Architecture” milestone, claim its reward to get 3 weapon modules. Install all of those, too!

After that, use the in-game Photo Mode to take a picture of your corvette and complete the “Aperture” milestone. You can sell the Pearls and Gravitino Balls from this milestone’s rewards.
Fly Away, Now

At this point, you can dismantle the Mission Radar you placed inside your corvette for resources. As well, remember to sell the Pearls and Balls.
Use the funds you get from this to purchase Dioxite x125, Microprocessors x2, and all the Ferrite Dust possible. You can do all of this in the current Space Station, of course.

With that done, board the corvette and fly away to the “Lonwick Delta” Flourishing Moon. You’ll complete the “Grounded” milestone as soon as you land on it. Install the Fishing Rig you get from the rewards.

Next up, grab a Gravitino Ball on the moon and then board your corvette. Fly out into space and wait for Interceptors to attack you. Destroy 3 of them to complete the “Anarchy” milestone.

As a trick here, you can quickly get rid of the Sentinels chasing you. Leave the pilot seat and make sure you see the “Restore point saved” message. If you do, go into options and quit to mode select. Then, reload your save. There should now be no threat!

Moving on, return to the Space Station. While flying towards it, open the in-game menu to select “Autopilot Management” and “Maintain current flightpath.” Use this autopilot for 20 continuous seconds to complete the “Cruising” milestone.
Once it pops, fly around and shoot any asteroids you find. Destroy 33 of them to complete the “Heavyweight” milestone.
At this point, also make sure to fly a total of 70,000u with your corvette to complete the “Flightpath” milestone. Once you’ve done that, land at the Space Station.
Leaving the System

At the Space Station, go to the Technology Merchant and sell all of the unused modules you have. Then, buy and install the Hyperdrive Modules from the merchant.
Also, purchase the C-Class Starship Shield Module and install it. After you’ve installed it, dismantle it to get a Wiring Loom and some Chromatic Metal. These will come in handy for repairing the Hyperdrive Engine.

Now, it’s time to leave the current system. Select the “Resist: 1” milestone and warp to the location it marks on your Galaxy Map. This will complete the “Cant’ Take the Sky” milestone.
Note that you can now summon the Space Anomaly to retrieve the resources you stored earlier, if you did that. So, feel free to do so!

That aside, just keep following the milestone’s marker until you reach the core of the Space Station. Interact with it to complete “Resist: 1.”
With that done, make sure to install the X-Class Suspicious Hyperdrive Module you got from the milestone rewards. Then, purchase Chromatic Metal x25 from the trade terminal at the Space Station.

Then, to finish up here, track the “Resist: 2” milestone and follow its marker. As before, you’ll need to warp to another system and reach the Space Station’s core there.

Collect the rewards from “Resist: 2” to get a set of Habitation Modules. Use the Corvette Workshop to install them and complete “Advance: Expand.” Install the Pre-Packaged Hazmat Gauntlet from its rewards.
Note: if you didn’t bring in resources from your main save, now’s a good time to purchase Silver x120 and Gold x170 from traders.
Time for Some Salvaging

Moving on, leave the Space Station and fly to the “Loyd VIII” Glacial Planet. Use the autopilot to maintain current flightpath and fly along the planet’s orbit.

While your ship flies, use your Visor to locate Salvage Containers on the planet’s surface. Once you locate them, pilot your corvette and use your weapons to shoot at the container. You’ll collect it without having to leave the ship.
Rinse and repeat this process until you collect a total of 5 Corvette Modules to complete the “Salvaging” milestone.
Optional Farming | Resource Make Up

If you’re using a new save, or didn’t have all of the resources from the shopping list at the start, now’s the time to make up the difference!
Land on Loyd VIII and gather the following resources:
- Frost Crystals x250
- Oxygen x30
- Carbon x70
- Silicate Powder x30
Use these materials to also craft a single Warp Cell, which you’ll need later. With that, you should now be on the same page as players who brought their resources through the Space Anomaly!
Resist Some More

Next up, build 3 Living Walls inside of your corvette and plant 5 Frostwort. Make sure not to move your hull modules from this point on, as it would reset their growth!
Once that’s done, track “Resist: 3” and follow it as you have with the previous Resist milestones. Claim its rewards and install the 3 Thruster Modules from it to complete “Advance: Move.”

Then, go to the “Isabeaum” Torrid Planet and land near any body of water. Catch 3 fish there and you’ll complete the “Proteins from the Sea” milestone.

Did that make you hungry? Well, even if it didn’t, build a Nutrition Unit inside of the corvette and use it to cook any of the fish you caught. This will complete the “Fresh Rations” milestone.
Fight and destroy 5 Corrupt Sentinels on this planet to complete the “Undying Horde” milestone. You can get rid of the Sentinel Threat by reloading your save using the trick from earlier.

After that, find and document 3 different fauna on the planet to complete the “Wild Things” milestone. Use the Echo Locator you get from its rewards.

Follow the Echo Locator’s marker to reach a settlement, where you must complete the Harmonic Interface puzzle on the terminal there. Pay attention to the resulting decimals from the hint and select the glyphs that match the numbers.

Once you’ve solved the puzzle, select “Deactivate Multi-Tool seal” and claim the Sentinel-class Multi-Tool to complete the “Reclaimed Weaponry” milestone.
With that out of the way, track and complete the “Resist: 4” milestone. It works the same as the previous 3 did, so it’s nothing new for you at this point. Install the Corvette Shield Generators you got from it.
Defend and Destroy

Next up, use the Corvette Workshop terminal to trade for another Corvette Shield Generator and install it as well to complete the “Advance: Defend” milestone.
Then, install the Corvette Weapon System modules you got as a reward from that milestone to complete “Advance: Destroy” as well.

Claim the rewards from that milestone and use them to unlock 2 more Technology slots on your Starship’s inventory. Install a Conflict Scanner after you do so.

Use the Conflict Scanner to find any pirate-run system and warp to it. You can tell it’s pirate-run due to the skull-shaped icon. Warping there will complete the “Off the Radar” milestone.

Once you reach the system, visit its Space Station and purchase as many Illegal Black Market Goods as possible. The exact type doesn’t matter.
Then, track the “Resist: 5” milestone and complete it by following its marker. Same as all of the previous Resist milestones, nothing fancy.

Claim the rewards from that milestone to get 2 Corvette Reactor Modules. Install them on your ship to complete the “Advance: Heart” milestone.

Then, while you’re still at the Space Station, sell the illegal goods you bought before. Doing so will complete the “Under Their Noses” milestone.
Anomalies, Freighters, and More

Moving on, track the “Dwarfed” milestone. Use the Anomaly Detector you got from the rewards before. Fly in space with your Pulse Engine until you find an Anomaly, then complete it to finish the milestone.

You’ll get the Emergency Signal Scanner from “Dwarfed” now. Use it and use your Pulse Engine again to find a Derelict Freighter. Explore it to complete the “Spacewreck” milestone.

That will get you a Sentinel Boundary Map. Use it to mark a Sentinel Pillar somewhere in the same system, which you’ll get to in a moment.

For now, though, check your Frostworts. All 5 of them should be ready for harvest, so pick them up to complete the “Silent Running” milestone.

Then, exit your corvette while in space and fly around for 23 seconds with the Jetpack. This will complete the “Extravehicular” milestone.

After that, get back on track following the marker from the Sentinel Boundary Map. Enter the atmosphere of the marked planet and then start tracking the “Stardiving” milestone. Leave the corvette and dive toward the planet’s surface for 40 seconds to get that one over with.

Once that’s done, keep following the in-game marker to reach the Sentinel Pillar on the planet. Destroy the structures around it, then use the terminal to disable the Sentinel forces. This will complete the “One, Zero” milestone.

Go back out to space and install an Emergency Warp Unit on your ship. Use an Emergency Warp from the Utilities menu to complete the final main milestone, “Fast Scramble!”

At this point, you’re pretty much done with the Expedition! However, there are two optional milestones you can also complete in multiplayer for extra Quicksilver:
- Hitchhiking – Ride another player’s corvette for 7000u.
- Resistance – Imprint signatures at rendezvous stations. This is a community tally of the “Resist” milestones.
Finishing Up

With all of that said, you’re finally done! You can now just visit a Space Station to sell up remaining modules for Nanites, if you wish. Then visit the Space Anomaly and use its Expedition terminal to finish up.
Transfer whatever you wish to keep back onto your main save if you started with a pre-existing save. If you started with a new save, you’ll just keep everything as your status gets turned into a normal save.

Then, go visit the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion at the Space Anomaly to collect your rewards whenever you wish!
Phew, that was a long Expedition, as usual. But that’s all you need to know to complete Expedition 19 Redux: Corvette as fast as possible in No Man’s Sky.
