Shia LaBeouf says only losers care about the Epstein files, and his explanation of what he was doing instead is peak chaos

Shia LaBeouf sat down for an interview on Andrew Callaghan’s Channel 5 YouTube show on, right after being arrested twice during Mardi Gras. The interview has already gathered nearly 1.5 million views in under two days.

According to Mediaite, when asked if he had been following the Epstein files, LaBeouf was very direct. “Nah bro, I was f—in’ chasing a— on Mardi Gras, what you mean? I wasn’t payin’ no attention to Epstein files, nah,” he said. He then added, “This s— is beyond me bro, I don’t get into this s—.”

Callaghan pointed out that the Epstein files were “the biggest news story in the world for a couple days,” but LaBeouf was not impressed. He called people who follow the files “losers who got no life,” saying they stay in a “f—in hole all day.” He also said, “Motherf—ers that are in the street don’t give a f— about this stupid s—,” and added that “your life sucks” and “you’re a normie” if you get too caught up in it.

LaBeouf also made comments about gay people during the interview. He said, “When I’m like standing by myself and three gays are next to me, touching my leg, I get scared.” He followed that with, “I’m sorry. If that’s homophobic, then I’m that. Yeah.”

The 39-year-old actor had already gone viral before the interview after getting into a fight and being arrested during Mardi Gras. He was released, but was then arrested again, the same day the interview aired. For those following the broader Epstein story, reports show that Epstein removed key evidence before a police raid of his mansion, raising serious questions about what was lost.

The second arrest came with an additional misdemeanor charge of simple battery, connected to an altercation that took place on February 17. So by the time he sat down with Callaghan, he had already been through two arrests in a short span of time.

Despite all of this, LaBeouf told Callaghan he does not think he has a drinking problem. He did admit, though, that he struggles with a “small man complex.” Meanwhile, those who have been closely following the files saga will know that secret Epstein documents disappeared from public view after the White House claimed total exoneration.

The Transformers star made it clear throughout the interview that he is not concerned about public opinion and is willing to say exactly what is on his mind, no matter how controversial it may come across.
