Compulsion Games has announced that it’s Xbox exclusive game will no longer be exclusive, as it’s going to make the jump to other platforms in 2026.
Compulsion delivered the news on X, revealing that in Spring 2026, South of Midnight will double-jump onto PlayStation. A Switch 2 version was also announced, although weirdly it wasn’t mentioned in the tweet.
South of Midnight was far from a perfect game, but it did have a lot of very cool moments, too. The acting was terrific, the music was excellent (and should have got a nomination for The Game Awards) and the visuals were beautiful. In other words, I’d recommend it if you can snag it for a decent price.
