Lynae is a new Spectro Resonator you can get in Wuthering Waves 3.0, and we’ll help you with the best builds for her and more.
Lynae is a very strong character who mainly serves as a sub-DPS. She can dish out solid damage on her own, but her main strengths are her abilities that buff the team’s damage output. Put on a show with the rollerblades and decimate your foes!

Basic Kit Breakdown
The main gimmick for Lynae is that she has 3 different Forte levels. By default, she’s in the Optical Sampling Stage. In this state, you can fill up her Forte gauge by performing basic attacks and skills.
Once her Forte gauge is full, you can hold down the Normal Attack button to enter the second Forte level: Kaleidoscopic Parade. This also replaces the Forte gauge with a Lumiflow gauge.
In this state, Lynae starts skating and her movements become faster as you fill up the Lumiflow gauge up to 120. Attacking and moving fills up the Lumiflow gauge, but it drains quickly if you stay still!
Pressing the jump button in the Kaleidoscopic Parade state will also allow Lynae to perform the Polychromatic Leap attack. This consumes a third of the Lumiflow gauge (40 Lumiflow), but gives you 1 True Color bar.
When Lynae has 3 True Color bars, you can perform the Visual Impact skill by doing a basic attack in mid-air. This deals high Spectro DMG and inflicts enemies with Photochromatic Flux. More importantly, it grants all nearby Resonators in the team 40 points of Tune Break Boost for 30s.
Visual Impact has a 25-second cooldown, however. Attempting to perform it again before the cooldown will result in Irisdecent Splash. Mainly, this doesn’t grant the Tune Break Boost, it just does damage to enemies.
Aside from that, the other main noteworthy thing is her Outro Skill. It grants the next incoming Resonator gain 15% All DMG Amplification and 25% Resonance Liberation DMG Amplification for 14s or until they are switched out.
This is a very quick and basic breakdown of her kit, since it’s fairly wordy in-game. But the gist of it is that you want to work towards Visual Impact. Make maintaining the Tune Break Boost active at all times your goal to empower your team with Lynae!
Skill Leveling and Resonance Sequence Priority
Generally speaking, this is the recommended priority order for leveling up Lynae’s skills:
- Forte Circuit
- Resonance Liberation
- Normal Attack
- Resonance Skill and Intro Skill
The only time when this general priority isn’t recommended is if you happen to get Lynae to S3. If you did, then we recommend maxing her Resonance Skill as a priority!
On that note, aiming for Resonance Chain S3 is a good idea for Lynae. Anything past S3 isn’t super worthwhile for most players, however. Frankly, her S4 and S5 are nothing special. S6 is strong, but requires a bit too much investment to recommend for most players.
While we’re talking about her Skills, note also that Lynae’s skill tree allows her to switch between two Resonance Modes: Tune Rupture and Tune Strain. Currently, there aren’t many ways to take advantage of Tune Strain. So, Tune Rupture is highly recommended instead.
Stats, Echoes, and Weapons
For Lynae, these are the Echo and stats you will want to look out for as you build her:
- 4-Cost Echo: Hyvatia with 22% CRIT Rate or 44% Crit DMG.
- 3-Cost Echo: Any two Echoes. One with Spectro DMG and one with ATK% are ideal.
- 1-Cost Echo: 18% ATK.
- Substat Priorities: CRIT Rate = CRIT Damage > Energy Regen > ATK% > Basic Attack DMG Bonus
Alternatively, you can go for Energy Regen on the 3-Cost Echoes instead. You would lose out on damage, of course, but would make Lynae more of a support-oriented Resonator. We recommend going for damage, but it’s another viable option!
As for the Sonata effect, we recommend the 5-piece Pact of Neonlight Leap due to it providing an extra buff to incoming Resonators via the Outro Skill.
Alternatively, the 5-piece Moonlit Clouds is also a solid second choice. Just replace Hyvatia with the Impermanence Heron for this Sonata. It’s more focused on making Lynae a DPS and it’s pretty solid, although not as strong as Pact of Neonlight Leap.
As for weapons, you’ll mostly want to go for Lynae’s signature: Spectrum Blaster. There’s nothing better for her! Alternatively, you can go for the Phasic Homogenizer or The Last Dance. Static Mist is also a good choice, sacrificing Lynae’s DPS for the second-best team DPS after Spectrum Blaster.
Teams
Last but not least, it’s time to fit Lynae into some teams! Thankfully, she is quite versatile, working well in a variety of teams.
Her best team overall right now, though, is Augusta + Iuno + Lynae. Lynae can buff Iuno’s damage output, and then Iuno can pass some buffs onto Augusta as well. It’s a very strong team capable of overwhelming enemies with sheer damage, while also having decent survivability.
Alternatively, you can replace Augusta in that team with Ciaccona or Jiyan, as well. They can take good advantage of Lynae’s Resonance Liberation buffs.
On that note, Lynae can pair well with any other Resonance Liberation users, such as Xiangli Yao or Calcharo. Both of those can also be paired with Shorekeeper for survivability, making a pretty solid team.
That aside, Lynae is just overall a good character to buff main DPS characters. She can pair well even with Resonators like Carlotta! Carlotta won’t benefit from Lynae’s Resonance Liberation buffs, but can take advantage of Lynae’s other buffs, for example.
