With the mansions DLC for GTA V Online now out, it’s time to look again at what are some of the fastest methods to make money currently in the game.
After all, you’ll need to make money to buy one of those expensive mansions! Plus, the mansions themselves also do give you some new avenues for moneymaking, surprisingly.
In this guide, we’ll quickly tell you about all of the best moneymaking methods we know of after the A Safehouse in the Hills update.
Faster Money Methods After Mansions DLC | GTA V Online – A Safehouse in the Hills
KnoWay Out Heist
The first method we recommend is doing the KnoWay Out Heist. As we covered in our guide on starting it, you simply need to go to the yellow “A” icon on Little Seoul. Pick up the payphone there to start the Heist mission chain.
By default, this Heist rewards you with about $525,000 upon completion. It does take a while to complete, as most Heists do, but it’s a fairly simple one and pretty rewarding!
What’s more, completing the Heist as a Leader before December 17th, 2025 will net you a one-time Weekly Challenge bonus of $400,000! So, you can get $925,000 for your first time completing this Heist right now.
We highly recommend doing this while the Weekly Challenge is still around, though this Heist should be decent for moneymaking even without the bonus.
Home Sweet Home
While we’re talking about missions, the new “Home Sweet Home” mission featuring Michael de Santa is another good way to get some good money fast.
You’ll be automatically invited to do this mission sometime after you complete the KnoWay Out Heist and purchase a mansion. Just accept the invitation from Avi and you’ll instantly start it!
The mission is pretty straightforward and not too long. However, it will reward you with a substantial bonus of $500,000 upon its first completion. Plus, you’ll get around $140,000 from completing the mission itself. Not too shabby!
Participate in Featured Series Activities
This is a method that’s always been around, but it’s worth reminding you of. To participate, go through your in-game phone and select Quick Job > Series Modes > Featured Series.
Alternatively, you can find them as pink Rockstar icons on your map or in the Online tab of the pause menu. Just look for the activities with the x3 $ icons.
Essentially, these are featured multiplayer modes that will give you a lot more money upon completion this week.
Currently, the Hotring Circuit Stunt Races are the Featured Series. You can get triple RP and GTA$ by completing them, with particularly good earnings if you actually win the race!
Time Trials
Similar to the previous method, this is a classic. For this one, just make sure to do the currently available Time Trials. That is both the HSW Time Trials and the regular Time Trials. They change each week, but you can find them on your map.
Beating the par time on regular Time Trials will reward you with around $100,000. Meanwhile, HSW Time Trials will reward you with around $252,000 but are a bit tougher.
Either way, making sure to complete these Time Trials each week is a great way to get some extra money. They shouldn’t take too long to complete, either.
Businesses
Last but definitely not least, make sure to pay attention to your businesses! In particular, Meth Lab businesses are hugely discounted this week. If you haven’t started with them yet, now’s the time.
This is even better if you have a mansion already, too. Having a mansion allows you to have Security to prevent the business from being raided, which simplifies maintenance.
But, more importantly, the mansion allows you to boost the production of businesses via its AI assistant. We go over it in more detail on our mansion DLC guide, but this is a huge boon that can speed up your moneymaking!
So, to summarize here, make sure to have your businesses up and running. Meth Labs are discounted this week and are highly recommended, especially when boosted via the mansion.
